General Overview We are located in a wilderness region on the outer edge of the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve. The town of Chapleau is approximately 25 miles from our location. In Wagoon Lake, we have excellent Walleye and Smallmouth Bass fishing. The pike fishing is good in our lake but there are other small lakes in the area, which have big trophy pike. We have another lake about 3 miles from the lodge where you can catch Lake Trout. There are a few lakes and streams in the area were you could catch nice Brook Trout. We offer guided trips to these other lakes. There are 35 to 40 lakes in the area that we use. There are church services available in Chapleau There are lots of trails and backcountry bush roads for mountain biking and ATVing There are many ways to access the deep bush for wildlife viewing and photography The town of Chapleau has stores for food, spirits and souvenirs There is a golf course in Chapleau and other tourist attractions Sorry, no pets unless by prior arrangement We have housekeeping cottages, camping and RV parking with electrical hook-up We invite you to come spend some time with us and have a nice relaxing vacation or a fun-filled adventure.
