Ontario Northern Pike Fishing

We have good pike fishing in our lake. You will find that people of all ages will have lots of fun catching pike in the back bays and weed beds. The pike average in the 3 to 4-pound range but much bigger pike are in the lake. Walleyes are the dominant species in our lake.

The best pike fishing is in the smaller lakes that surround Wangoon Lake. Guests have caught pike up to 25 pounds in these lakes with many in the 10 to 20 pound range being caught in the last few years. These surrounding lakes are easy to access from our lodge and also add to the adventure of your vacation. We will give you directions and maps to these lakes and even show you where the hot spots are.

Spoons and spinner baits work best in the spring and summer. Later in the fall, large Rapalas work best.
